Not shockingly, the nation's No. 2-rated quarterback is still in the running for an award that goes to the top passer in the country.
Notre Dame's Jimmy Clausen is one of 15 semifinalists for the Davey O'Brien Award, it was announced Monday. The junior has thrown for 2,050 yards and 16 touchdowns against just two interceptions for the Irish, who are 5-2 heading into a Saturday game versus Washington State in San Antonio.
The other semifinalists: USC's Matt Barkley, Penn State's Daryll Clark, Miami's Jacory Harris, Houston's Case Keenum, Central Michigan's Dan LeFevour, Washington's Jake Locker, Texas' Colt McCoy, Boise State's Kellen Moore, Cincinnati's Tony Pike, Kansas' Todd Reesing, Iowa's Ricky Stanzi, Pittsburgh's Bill Stull and Florida's Tim Tebow.

I dislike the idea to migrate ATB blog to this generic Chicago site. Loved the blog and all your tweeting. FWIW, dislike this Red format which screams "Bulls."
