Vikings' Adrian Peterson looks ready for Bears

MINNEAPOLIS -- Tommie Harris knew better. The Bears defensive tackle wasn't buying the talk that Adrian Peterson might sit out of the Bears-Vikings game today, and for good reason.

Even though Peterson was limited in practice on Wednesday and Thursday and missed practice Friday because of an ankle injury, he is expected to play today, according to Sean Jensen of the St. Paul Pioneer Press. The report said Peterson will have 30 guests at the game.

Peterson has been a Bear killer. In his career, he has 90 rushes for 554 yards and eight touchdowns. He has averaged 6.2 yards per carry in the four games.

The last time the Bears faced an elite, physical running back, the Bengals' Cedric Benson ran for 189 yards. So just in case you were wondering, this does not bode well for the Bears.
