*Tommie Harris had one of his best pass rushes of the year on the Cardinals' first possession. But Harris lost his cool and was ejected from the game for punching Arizona guard Deuce Lutui. There is no excuse for that. Harris hurt his team and acted unprofessionally.

*Not having Anquan Boldin didn't slow down the Cardinals early. They passed the ball as if they never needed him.
*It didn't surprise me that Larry Fitzgerald broke an attempted tackle by Charles Tillman for an 11-yard touchdown. It did surprise me that there was no safety help to bring down Tillman. Where was free safety Nathan Vasher?
*It's about time the Bears "took a shot" to Devin Hester deep. He can make plays like that 42-yard reception more than once a month.
*And it's about time the Bears got a deep ball to Greg Olsen in the seam. Nice throw by Jay Cutler on the 33-yard touchdown.
*It might be a good idea to get the running game going now that Cardinals safeties know they have to worry about the pass.
*The Bears' defense looks awful. This is going to be a high-scoring game.

OK, I opened a beer, I can comment now. Lovie's defense is easy for a savvy QB to pick apart. It is interesting though that even though the offense has played reasonably well, the game turned on a boneheaded offensive play call. It was 14-7 and the Bears were marching again after going 90 yards on the opening drive and they run a reverse. I'm no expert, but my understanding is a reverse should be in response to the defense abandoning their gaps to overpursue the running game. How can a reverse be set up when you haven't run the ball at all?
If the Bears score on that drive it is a different game.

I can't stand this. How much longer are we going to be subjected to the ridiculous plays drawn up by Lovie and Turner? The defense is terrible, as everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, has figured out the antiquated system Lovie stubbornly continues to employ. I don't care that the man took us to the Super Bowl. The fact that 2 non-playoff years later we are looking like a pop warner team at home is enough evidence I need. Fire Lovie and Turner!

This is an embarassment. We cannot tackle. I live here in Arizona and have been a die hard Bears fan for 57 years. This could be the final straw in my frustration of being a Bears fan. Total crap. This team may not win another game this year. No draft picks early next draft. We are in trouble for years to come because of Angelo and Smith.

I would like to see any Chicago sports writer defend Lovie Smith after this game. A horrible defense that can't seem to stop anyone, an offense that a 5-year-old could outcoach, and team discipline seems non-existent. How is this not Lovie's fault? Injuries only explain so much. Sooner of later we have to face the fact that Lovie is not the great coach we thought he was...and we have the WORST offensive coordinator in football...i'm not kidding. The WORST. Mike Shanahan anyone? Bill Cowher? Ronald McDonald? Anyone is an improvement.
