The Bears signed tight end Kevin Brock to the practice squad today to take the place of running back Kahlil Bell, who was elevated to the active roster Friday.
Brock signed with Carolina as an undrafted free agent out of Rutgers. He was claimed off of waivers by the Jets on Aug. 3 and appeared in two preseason contests with New York before being waived on Sept. 5. The 6-foot-5, 255-pound Brock spent Weeks 2-7 of the regular season on the Steelers' practice squad.
Brock might be just another body at tight end, with Desmond Clark (neck) coming off an injury, and Kellen Davis and Greg Olsen a little banged up against the Eagles.

It is time the Bears make Greg Olsen a power wide out and get Devon Hester off the field.
Its time they start playing their draft picks, free agents (Gaines) so they can look and analyze them more carefully. Maybe Lovie's no live tackling during practice have led them to more injuries and has softened their psyche...imho
