Bulls rookie Taj Gibson has not seen the Tim Floyd video but said he's "definitely going to check it out."
To refresh: A video surfaced last night that shows Floyd and former USC coach Henry Bibby breaking up a fight involving at least six women, hair pulling and near chair throwing at a Southern California casino cafeteria.
Gibson, who played three seasons for Floyd at USC, said it doesn't surprise him that his former coach would act as a peacemaker.
"Everybody is telling me about it," Gibson said. "And from what people have told me, I'm like, 'Yeah, that sounds like Coach Floyd.' He would break something up. He's such a soft-hearted guy."
Maybe Gibson can get a first-hand account of what really happened in that food court next time Floyd calls him.
"He hits me up with late-night voice mails," Gibson said. "That's the way he is. He says, 'I've been watching your games.' So we stay in long-distance touch. He tells me to keep bringing energy and he's watching all my games."
