Bulls trail Nuggets after 1st quarter

This is getting to be a habit.

The Bulls are 3-0 at home entering Tuesday night's game against Denver, but they also routinely fall into early holes.

After a slow start, Denver's high-powered offense woke late in the first quarter and the Nuggets lead 22-20 going into the second quarter. Carmelo Anthony, second in the NBA in scoring behind Kobe Bryant, has seven points.

The Nuggets are shooting just 38 percent and still leading.

Luol Deng's eight points leads the Bulls, who are shooting 50 percent but have missed all four 3-point attempts.
