MIAMI -- The Bulls faded down the stretch of a winnable game Sunday evening at American Airlines Arena, falling 95-87 to the Heat.
Leading 83-82 on John Salmons' three-pointer with just under 4 minutes remaining, the Bulls surrendered a 7-0 run capped by Quentin Richardson's 3-pointer from directly in front of the Bulls' bench with 1:41 remaining.

The Bulls pulled within two when Luol Deng and Joakim Noah each made two free throws around a Dwyane Wade miss. But Wade drove on Kirk Hinrich and fed Udonis Haslem on the baseline, and he buried the jumper with 47.4 seconds left.
Coming out of a timeout, the Bulls then botched a play designed by Vinny Del Negro, with Hinrich and Derrick Rose combining to force the unforced turnover.
Mario Chalmers' two free throws with 38.2 seconds left pushed the Heat lead to six.
Deng led the Bulls with 26 points. Wade topped Miami with 25.
Tyrus Thomas didn't play the entire fourth quarter for the first time this season.

What I don't understand about the Bulls coach, is that he was the best the Bulls could find? Wouldn't a more experienced coach be a better fit for such a young team?
Why is vinny using such a short rotation this early in the season? I thought the bulls were supposed to have a deep bench this year. He's essential using an 8 man rotation and tac on a handful of minutes for Pargo.
What really concerns me is that it is obvious that Derrick Rose is playing hurt and, the more he plays hurt for limited minutes, the more likely he is to injure himself more severly. If they have to sit him for this west coast trip, then do so, since it is unlikely that we are going to win with him hurt. In the Heat game, you cannot allow their 4th guard, Arroyo, to come in and score 10 points on Pargo who so far this year has looked like cr_p. Yes, the Bulls won't give Tyrus and extention and he will leave one day to play for a coach who knows how to get the best out of him--it's certainly not VDN. Don't you just hate being a Chicago sports fan???
