The Los Angeles Times reports: The agent for Mark DeRosa says the Dodgers are one of a dozen teams interested in signing his free-agent client, but -- perhaps surprisingly to fans in Chicago -- the Cubs aren't one of them.
Agent Keith Grunewald identified the other interested teams as the Cardinals, Mariners, Nationals, Giants, Phillies, Orioles, Rangers, Yankees, Mets, Twins and Braves.
DeRosa became a fan favorite while playing for the Cubs in 2007 and '08, but was traded to Cleveland last winter. He hit .250 with 23 home runs and 78 runs batted in while playing for the Indians and Cardinals last season.
Grunewald said DeRosa, whose three-year, $13-million contract expired at the end of the season, is seeking another multiyear deal.

DeRosa is the most over hyped and overrated player the Cubs have had in the last 5 years. Get over him already Cub fans!
Sounds more like an agent trying to build a market for his client. The Cubs already have 4 2nd basemen on the 40 man roster, we don't need another.
