The St. Paul Pioneer Press reports: Reeling with three straight losses and five in their last six games, the Bears now head into the teeth of a Brett Favre buzzsaw this Sunday in Minneapolis.The 40-year-old Vikings quarterback was brilliant in a 35-9 victory over the Seattle Seahawks, completing a career-best 22 of 25 passes (88 percent). On the season, Favre is 216-for-310 (69.7 percent) for 2,482 yards, with 21 touchdowns and three interceptions. He has a league-best passer rating of 112.1 and had Vikings fans chanting, "M-V-P."
"He deserves it," receiver Sidney Rice said of the MVP chants. "He's doing a tremendous job and leading this team, and taking us to a whole other level."
"I talked to a couple of coaches before the game, and they said he was taking over this team with his leadership and changing the environment, single-handedly," Seahawks coach Jim Mora said. "That is what Hall of Famers do."
Of the Vikings (9-1), Mora said, "They do not have a weakness on their football team. This is the most complete team we have faced. By far."

Brett Favre is 40, but plays like he's 23! He is an amazing quarterback with a fierce arm and amazing recievers! As a Packers fan, i never thought i would say this, but GO VIKINGS! :)

Hey, William, your post is very gracious. Nice to see you didn't take the opportunity to gloat or rip the Bears. I'm a long time Bears fan and I remember how fun the Super Bowl season (1985) was. I can't say I'm rooting for the Vikings, but I hope you enjoy this run as much as I enjoyed that 1985 season.
This is a late game on FOX...meaning a lot of people might be seeing this one....Favre was a Bear killer with the Packers and this Vikings team is a hell of a lot better than anything he had in GB. This could get really ugly really fast. Hate to say this, but I'm thinking Vikings 45 Bears 10.

Well the bears have a hard team this Sunday. I am a vikings fan so it has been a great year. I thought Cutler was the bears answer but it looks like it makes little difference without recievers that can get open. It seems everywhere he has gone the receivers have not been that great. I think if you pick up a good go to guy and an O lineman in the off season you will contend. The good news is... Favre IS 40 and at the end of his career. The vikes will have to go with TJ or sage... shudder...
