Ex-Bears safety Brown named AFC player of week

Brown today was named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week for his performance in the Chiefs' 16-10 victory Sunday at Oakland. It's the first such honor for Brown since 2001, when he twice won games for the Bears in walk-off fashion by returning interceptions for touchdowns.

Against Oakland, Brown had his first two-interception game (including one with three seconds remaining two seal the victory) and four passes defensed. Brown has started all nine games for the Chiefs and has 47 tackles.

another pro bowl player the bears got rid of, another reason to get rid of angelo... he's terrible !! can't judge talent to save his life!

Another Angelo mistake.....could have had him stay here for a cup of soup, but you dumped him because Lovie thought he was expendable. Think the Defense hould use a hard hitting guy now? Oh yea, they have Manning who takles guys by the shoulder pads. Angelo was thinking about replacing Brown with Vasher...I mean Safety & DB is the same thing .....right Jerry?

Good job Bears... Son of B@tch....
