Although Juan Uribe frustrated White Sox fans with his wild swings, he found temporary comfort in San Francisco this past season.
Uribe batted .289 with 16 home runs and 55 RBIs and drew 25 walks while playing various roles in 122 games for San Francisco.
Uribe is now a free agent, and his representatives are exploring other options. That hasn't discouraged the Giants from attempting to re-sign Uribe, who invigorated the Giants' clubhouse in the same manner he did during the latter three years of his five-year stint with the Sox.
