The Denver Post reports: Broncos coach Josh McDaniels said today quarterback Kyle Orton is making progress with his left ankle injury, but that no determination will be made about Orton's playing time for Sunday's game against San Diego until it's necessary.
And that decision wasn't coming today. Orton has received treatment all week, but did not practice Wednesday and was not expected to do much, if anything, in today's workout.
"He's feeling better, we're going to see if he can do much today," McDaniels said just before the team took the field for practice. "Then (he'll) continue on with his rehab schedule, certainly not making any determination based on where he is now."
