The Sporting News reports: Reached by phone by Sporting News in his San Diego office Wednesday afternoon, Mike Martz denied a report that he's heading to the Bears.

"This if the first I've heard of that," Martz said. "I just walked into the office and sat down. You could knock me over with a feather right now. No. No. They've got an offensive coordinator right now. And he's a good one.

"I have not talked to Lovie," Martz added. "You shocked me. You surprised me with that one."

Martz also reponded to a Sun-Times story that said Martz would love to work with quarterback Jay Cutler.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa," Martz said. "Let's cut this down. This angers me. There is no source. There isn't a source. Somebody is making this crap up."

No Thanks! Bears fans don't want Lovie the mope or any more of his buddies like Martz. Lovie can't evaluate talent or his coaches.

Every is tired Angelo the dope too. How many more draft choices will he bungle?????????

This is absolutely ridiculous. It sounds more media fueled than anything else. If the Bears are advertising Turner's job and already talking to people in public, that's low class. Then again this all could be supposition to create a media story. Time will tell. I'm sure Turner's job is on the line, but, it won't be settled till season's end.
