Minnesota CB Winfield hopes to play vs. Bears

The Minneapolis Star-Tribune reports: Vikings Pro Bowl cornerback Antoine Winfield is expected to play Sunday vs. the Bears.

Winfield had been sidelined for four games with a right foot injury. He last played Oct. 18 vs. the Ravens.

"I haven't played football in six weeks," he said. "It's been a long time. That's what I'm doing this week, working on my technique, trying to fine-tune everything."
