Wild claim Andrew Ebbett from Blackhawks

EDMONTON, Alberta -- Andrew Ebbett's time with the Blackhawks is officially over.

The forward was claimed off waivers by the Minnesota Wild on Saturday. The Hawks waived Ebbett after he scored one goal in 10 games with Chicago.

Bryan Bickell's play since his recall from Rockford and the impending return of Marian Hossa from shoulder surgery made Ebbett expendable.

Hossa is expected to make his Hawks debut on Wednesday night in San Jose.
