Toronto reportedly wants no part of Milton Bradley, despite a rumor on FOXSports.com by Ken Rosenthal of a three-way deal in which the Cubs acquired Mets second baseman Luis Castillo for Bradley. New York would then send Bradley to Toronto for Lyle Overbay.
Earlier in the day, Cubs GM Jim Hendry joked about Bradley trade talks.
"I also talked to Brian Cashman and Josh Byrnes, too," Hendry said with a laugh, referring to the general managers of the Yankees and Diamondbacks, respectively.

if the cubs cannot do an even trade for Bradley then they need to simply keep him and sign Jermain Dye as a back up-and use the rest of the money for pitching-
bring up Castro- move Ryan T to 2nd and use Blanco as a back up...
this is the problem with Jim Hendry he is always putting the cubs in a hole.
of course other teams are interested in Bradley at the cubs expense...
