EDMONTON, Alberta--Andrew Ebbett, who has been a healthy scratch the last two games, wasn't on the ice during the Blackhawks' practice Friday afternoon in Edmonton and reportedly has been placed on waivers.

During the broadcast of the Montreal-Washington game, TSN reported Ebbett has been waived. The forward has a goal in 12 games with the Hawks this season. He was claimed off waivers by the Hawks from the Anaheim Ducks on Oct. 17.

The Hawks take on the Oilers on Saturday night in the second game of their six-game road trip.

Unfortunately the NHL doesn't allow WGN to show Hawks games on WGN America (the national feed) because Versus and NBC have exclusive rights to national broadcasts of NHL games. WGN has no control over this.
