Much like the White Sox players reportedly involved in a possible trade with Kansas City, the Royals' Mark Teahen apparently hadn't been informed by his club about whether the deal actually was going to go down.
Late Thursday night, Teahan indicated on his Twitter account that he was still in the dark: "After a long day of rumors & questions, I haven't heard anything official. Heading 2 bed comfortable in knowing I'm a Royal 4 another day."
Earlier in the day, Sox second baseman Chris Getz and the agent for Josh Fields, the other Sox player reportedly involved, also said they had been told nothing.
