The Blackhawks will be closer to full strength than they have in over a month as captain Jonathan Toews and winger Ben Eager are scheduled to return to the lineup for tonight's game against the Los Angeles Kings at the United Center.

Toews has missed six consecutive games with a concussion and Eager was sidelined 14 games, also with a concussion.

"I'm excited," said Toews, who was injured Oct. 21 after a crunching check from the Canucks' Willie Mitchell. "I thought it might only be a couple of games and it went to four games and then last week to six. It just kind of dragged out. You feel like you're very close to being 100 percent but you know you don't want to mess with any tiny little symptom. It's not good to go out there and try and play through that. You don't know what you're risking.

"I feel healthy and it's time to get back at it," Toews added following the Hawks' morning skate at the United Center. "I don't want to waste any time getting back on track tonight."

Dave Bolland will miss his second consecutive game with a back injury. Coach Joel Quenneville said again Monday that Bolland is considered day to day, but the center isn't skating with the injury that has nagged him all season.
