Former White Sox third baseman Joe Crede had more surgery on his back and still wants to play, perhaps back in Minnesota.
Agent Scott Boras said Tuesday that "each time with these minor micro-surgeries, if you will, they finally feel" his years-long disc problems are over and that he would sign a one-year contract again.
"Joe's report is that he's never felt better," Boras said. "So he's really looking forward to coming back and playing a full season."
Crede hit .225 with 15 homers and 48 RBI with the Twins after leaving the White Sox as a free agent.
