Wilson Betemit to sign with Kansas City Royals

FOXSports.com reports: Utility player Wilson Betemit, who came to the White Sox from the New York Yankees in the Nick Swisher trade, is expected to sign a minor league contract with the Kansas City Royals.

He batted only .200 in 20 games and didn't play in the majors after June 2. Then he went to Class AAA and hit .241.

No Betemit was the key to the whole thing. As goes Betemit, so goes the White Sox. He'll win a couple rings at KC.

Too bad it was Teahen for Getz and Fields.

Are you serious? Kenny's lost it because he's not signing a player who's best option was a minor league contract with Kansas City. Yeah, huge loss.

Oh, goody, let them have him.. Teahan for Betemit and Fields, I'll take that in a heartbeat.. I hate to lose Getz, but it happens. I'm surprised the Yankees don't want him back
