Guard Jannero Pargo missed today's Bulls practice to fly to Philadelphia and visit a hip specialist. Coach Vinny Del Negro said Pargo would meet the Bulls in Cleveland and still could play Friday.
Pargo, who underwent offseason surgery to repair a sports hernia, has been hobbled by various aches and pains all season. He did score five points in 11 minutes Wednesday against the Pistons.
"He's had tightening of the back and hip that has bothered him since the beginning (of the season)," Del Negro said. "We want to find the correct therapy for him. He's been fighting through with the lack of bodies that we've had, and I appreciate that. But we need to get him healthy.
"When he starts to run, it locks up on him. We need to get him to feel better so he can be more productive."
