Blackhawks defeat Sharks 4-3 in overtime

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- The Blackhawks coughed up an early three-goal lead but Troy Brouwer  scored in overtime to lift them to a 4-3 victory over the Sharks on Thursday night at HP Pavilion.

Dustin Byfuglien, Brouwer and Andrew Ladd all scored within the first nine minutes of the game for the Hawks but the Sharks chipped away in regulation before the Hawks claimed the victory in the extra period.
