The Sports Business Journal reports: The upstart AF1, featuring a revived Rush team, has signed a TV deal to air Friday night games on the NFL Network. The one-year deal calls for AF1 to sell the advertising, with the league and the network evenly splitting all revenue. The first game will air April 2.
"We embrace football at all levels," said Charles Coplin, vice president of programming for the NFL. "This spring schedule gives us a weekly live game featuring some players who may eventually play in the NFL."
