Blackhawks fall 3-2 to Blues

In their first home game since Jan. 14, the Blackhawks fell to the Blues 3-2 on Wednesday night at the United Center.

After Patrick Kane scored in the first peirod to give the Hawks the lead, the Blues got two goals from David Backes and another by Jay McClement in the second to put St. Louis ahead to stay.

Marian Hossa scored a short-handed goal early in the third to pull the Hawks to within 3-2 but it wasn't enough. Cristobal Huet suffered the loss in goal for the Hawks while Chris Mason earned the win for the Blues.
