ATLANTA -- The Bulls have opted to rest Joakim Noah and the plantar fasciitis in his left foot at least through the All-Star break and Noah is scheduled to return to Chicago for treatment Thursday night.
Noah clearly has labored through the last two games and didn't participate in the Bulls' light practice at Georgia Tech Thursday.
"It's frustrating," Noah said late Wednesday in Philadelphia. "I can't move the way I want to."

At practice, coach Vinny Del Negro confirmed management had discussed
making this move. Del Negro battled plantar fasciitis for close to two
seasons during his playing career.
"Just because you rest for two or three weeks doesn't mean it will go away, Del Negro warned.
Noah has only missed the Houston game with the injury but played less than 3 minutes in the fourth quarter and overtime of Wednesday's loss to the 76ers.

Boy, did the two headed brain trust upstairs ever jump the gun trading Gray for for a stiff like Devin Brown knowing that:
1.Noah was hurt
2.Miller,due to his age, can only play limited minutes
3.They could have made the same trade at the deadline.
If they had waited to the trade deadline to make this trade than they'd be in more of a position to be able rest Noah Gibson and play Gray and Thomas. The Bull's chances of winning are so diminished anyways w/o Noah in the lineup. I'd like to know what Paxton and Foreman think about all day, other than premature non-stategic basketball trades.
Hopefully DelNegro will play Tyrus Thomas more. Man, the guy scores six points on 3 of 4 shooting with a defensive rebound the last four and a half minutes of the first quarter and in the few minutes he plays in the second quarter he goes 2 for 3 and two more rebounds. That's ten first half points in very limited minutes. The starting PF has planter fasciitus and dunder head DelNegro refuses to play his hot healthy four more than 15 minutes the whole game. What a goof. You'd think with Taj's injury that dunder head would at least play Thomas more if for no other reason than to show case him for trade value. I don't get it but what's worse neither does VDN.
