DALLAS -- A smiling Derrick Rose said he's "feeling all right, getting better" and plans to play in Sunday's NBA All-Star game.
"That's what I'm hoping for," said Rose, adding that he was "75 percent sure" he would play.
Rose, who suffered a badly bruised right hip Wednesday night, will be re-examined by team physician Brian Cole on Saturday and said he's been undergoing treatment of electrical stimulation and ice.

"Even on Thursday, I was able to walk more," Rose said.
Rose said he is less sure he will defend his Skills Challenge title Saturday night and the decision on whether or not to play "is on me."
Rose also said he had no issue with Dwight Howard's foul on the play.
