Barkley appeared Monday on "Chicago Tribune Live" on Comcast SportsNet and touched on a variety of topics, including how he would handle the Tyrus Thomas situation.

I remember another inexperienced Bulls head coach who went on to become, and still is a very successful coach. His name.......Jerry Sloan!
Kudos to Charles Barkley in supporting Vinny Del Negro as being the head coach of the Bulls.
We have a lot of uninformed, ignorant, and unintelligent fans who bash Del Negro for no reason. It looks as if he can't do anyright.
I think Del Negro is a great coach and given time the Bulls will continue to improve. I also like his "no-nonsense" attitude that makes him a "dictator" among immature basketball players such as Tyrus Thomas. Too many NBA coaches are too intimidate by their player. I'm glad that Del Negro is not that "spineless" type of coach that is not afraid to discipline players.
Management must support him in his decisions. They must support him because there will be time the players may just resent him but as long as management threatens the players jobs, Del Negro will be a good coach.
Now I hope all the Del Negro critics can please shut up.
Vinny was still much better as the star of Charles in Charge.
