The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports: The Detroit Pistons could be for sale, and speculation has Pittsburgh -- which has a new arena and only the Penguins to fill it -- making a play to lure the NBA franchise away from the Motor City.
But count Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban among those who doubt we'll be seeing the Pittsburgh Pistons any time soon.
"I don't see any chance that a team would leave Detroit for any city," Cuban said in an email. "And I don't know if Pittsburgh could support an NBA team. They would have to compete with the Penguins, and that's hard to do."
