( June 28, 2012 ) On the heels of sweeping the non-Equity Jeff Awards, the Theo Ubique Cabaret Theatre has opened another truly stellar show, a moving, strikingly expansive and thoroughly theatrical new revue. Beautifully conceived by director David Heimann and musical director Aaron Benham, this show needs just a cast of five and a single piano; its most remarkable quality is the level of emotional stakes that this cast achieves. There is something uncommonly intense about the way Styne classics are communicated here by the uniformly excellent Danielle Brothers, Stephanie Herman, Christopher Logan, Khaki Pixley and Andrew Sickel. "Time After Time" hones in on this prolific composer's musical sense of both the force of human personality and the fragility of the human heart. -- Chris Jones
