Carlos Zambrano returned to the Cubs clubhouse Friday morning, saying his sore neck was fine, that he would not miss any starts and that his problem arose "probably because of the way I sleep."
"I watch TV with my head on the pillow and the chiropractor told me to sit on my back and not my shoulder," Zambrano said.
Zambrano visited a doctor after he left Thursday's victory over the Mets, although the neck problem did not seem to bother him during a 9-3 victory over the Mets.
"I have a little knot," he said, pointing to the top of his right shoulder. "With treatment it will go away. Sometimes it doesn't bother me. It's nothing to worry about."
