Famine program

Emily Hirsch, 16, and Olivia Brandt, 14, tape boxes into place on the box city they helped create at La Canada United Methodist Church where a box city was set up for kids to get an authentic feeling of what it's like to be hungry and sleeping in a home of cardboard. The kids are participating in a 30-hour fast as part of World Vision 30 Hour Famine as a fundraiser with the goal of making $3,600.
