Loyola University Chicago

Founded in 1870 as St. Ignatius College, Loyola University Chicago today is the largest Jesuit university in the world. A liberal arts school that emphasizes social justice and Catholic values, Loyola boasts a prestigious nursing program, a school of law, medical school and hospital. Loyola's main campus is located in Rogers Park, along Lake Michigan. But it also has campus near the Water Tower downtown, a health system campus in Maywood and the John Felice Rome Center in Italy.
